Senior Analyst at the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS). She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Sciences from the Diplomatic Academy of Georgia. She holds two Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Georgia as well as from the University of Indianapolis (Athens Campus). Ia Pozovi worked as an intern in the Parliament of Georgia, Foreign Relations Committee (April-July, 2008) and in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of European Affairs, Division of East Europe and the Balkans (May 2010- October 2011).
Her research interests are: Balkans, Caspian Region, Mediterranean, energy security, intelligence, and religious studies.
