The Lessons of the COVID-19 Pandemic for Intelligence. By transforming security as we know it, the SARSCoV-2 virus has forced the redirection of global intelligence resources to the aim of combatting the pandemic. Intelligence agencies the world over continue to operate on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic, with mixed success. The Journal of European and American Intelligence Studies is issuing a call for papers that examine the intersection between intelligence and biological challenges to security, with a focus on topics such as bio-security, bio-surveillance and bio-defense, among others.
