The India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) is frequently analyzed through the lens of trade volumes, transit times, and economic integration. However, to view IMEC solely as an economic endeavor is to misunderstand its fundamental nature. IMEC is, at its core, a security architecture disguised as a trade route.
