Gustavo Diaz Matey (PhD) is an expert on Spanish Intelligence Studies. He earned his Bachelor Degree in Political Science at Complutense University in Madrid, his Master Degree in Intelligence and Security Studies at the Salford University in 2004 (UK) and his Doctorate Diploma (with honors) on International Relations at Complutense University in 2008 in Madrid (Spain). Senior Research Fellow (2006-2008) for the Research Program at the Madrid County (CAM): Root Causes to the Migratory Flows from Senegal to Madrid. He has written many articles and books about the transformation of the Spanish Intelligence Service as well as of the Spanish armed forces.
