Introduction

The continuing worldwide onslaught of corona pandemic, with no respite or solutions to tide over the situation in the near sight has forced all to look out for options to do their businesses. In the wake of corona catastrophe, WFH (Work from Home) has almost become a panacea to overcome the obstacles of social distancing that is universally implemented to arrest the spread of pandemic. The conduct of almost all businesses in corporate, government, and non-governmental sectors has radically shifted to online transactions. Even imparting of education online has become a new normal. The internet has become a lifeline, and the working-world without it cannot be dreamt of. The internet, on one hand, has provided the alternate solution to most of the business communications and governmental work, however; on the other hand, the exponential exploitation of internet has given almost a limitless playfield for the computer hackers, cyber-stalkers, data-stealers and their likes to exploit the sophisticated, subtle and non-conspicuous virtual world to carry out their cybercrimes. ... After a yawning gap of 18 years, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar becomes the first Indian foreign minister to visit Greece, the Hellenic Republic from 25 to 27th June this year. The visit coincided with the 200th Independent Anniversary of Greece. The foreign minister conveyed the felicitations of Indian President and Prime Minister. The visit has set the stage for a surge in the opportunities for strengthening and upgrading India-Greece relations in a number of key areas. Unveiling the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Athens on 26th June symbolizes the strength of friendship between the two states and the way ahead to consolidate on the past relationship and further it through engagement on issues such as environmental, maritime security, trade and investments and UN reforms, thus forging a meaningful strategic partnership. ... Listen, Mr. Mitsotakis,

You’re doing all you can, and correctly so, in order to avoid confrontation, conflict, [and] war with “friendly neighbor” Turkey. The Conqueror “friend” of Cyprus. The claimant “neighbor” of the Aegean and Thrace. This appeasement policy the Turk consistently translates into WEAKNESS...
With a recent smile [addressed] to Europe, the Turk got rid of the notorious SANCTIONS, which fed the Greek People as communication [fodder] for years.
And tomorrow, when Washington will be caressing Turkey [and orchestrating] her return to NATO’s bosom, American sanctions will be lifted as well.... sanctions which were of course decided upon not because of the Turk’s International Illegalities and his threats against Greece and Cyprus [but because] of the procurement of the Russian S-400 [missile system]. .... Leonardo Badea (PhD)
(Romanian economist with a vast academic and financial experience. Starting with October 2019 he is Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Romania and Member of the Board. Between 2017 and 2019 he was President of the Romanian Financial Supervisory Authority and during 2016-2017 he was Chairman of the finance and budget committee of the Chamber of Deputies. Beyond the obvious negative effects, the Covid-19 pandemic emphasized several opportunities for Romania, not only to rebuild the economy, but also to valorize our national production potential and the existent capacity toward sustainable recovery.
