A gas crisis in Europe caused by Russia's decision to reduce flows of gas, as it faces Western sanctions for invading Ukraine, is forcing Europe to diversify its energy supply. Algeria and Nigeria are Africa's major gas producers and the main African gas suppliers of Europe.
