Irina Tsukerman is a Senior Advisor in the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) based in Athens, Greece. She is a New York-based national security and human rights attorney, geopolitical analyst, and researcher. Her research interests include intelligence and national security, intelligence history, information warfare and cognitive security, hybrid and influence operations, counterterrorism, maritime and energy security, great-power competition, Middle East and Eurasian security, the Indo-Pacific, and the role of state and non-state actors in modern conflict.
Irina Tsukerman focuses her current research on intelligence knowledge and analysis, emerging technologies and artificial intelligence in security and warfare, para-diplomacy, and the interaction between law, security policy, and geopolitical competition.
Irina Tsukerman is affiliated with the Society for Intelligence History, the Cognitive Security Institute Professionals Network, and the Information Professionals Association, and is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
