Dr. Anargyros Sideris is Director of Development in the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) based in Athens, Greece. He is distinguished figure in contemporary business administration in Greece, combining academic excellence with applied business strategy. As a professor of management, business consultant, and author, his career is defined by a continuous effort to bridge theory with practice and integrate emerging technologies into leadership models.


His academic journey is built on a high-level educational foundation. Beginning with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the TEI of Epirus, he pursued international specialization, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Shipping Management from the University of Greenwich. He subsequently focused entirely on management, completing an Executive MBA at the University of Bolton, the same institution from which he earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Leadership and Management. His doctoral dissertation served as the springboard for his in-depth research into modern administrative models. Furthermore, Dr. Sideris served as Head of the Business Administration Department at City Unity College for the period Sep 2024 - July 2026. He teaches at advanced postgraduate levels, educating students in Human Resource Management (HRM), Strategic Marketing, and Leadership, consistently enriching theoretical frameworks with his extensive market experience.


Dr. Sideris’ academic presence extends beyond traditional lecture halls through his active engagement as a visiting lecturer at higher education institutions and specialized academies. A significant milestone in this path is his collaboration with the Hellenic National Defense College (HNDC), the premier educational institution of the Hellenic Armed Forces where he imparts expertise to senior military officers and defense executives on the dynamic interplay between leadership and technology. In addition, through lectures and presentations at international universities, he explores global management trends, digital transformation, and strategic decision-making in environments of high uncertainty.


His published work vividly reflects his vision for the future of management in the digital era, emphasizing the delicate balance between technological advancement and the human element. Through some of his books, including "The Manager: How to Lead Without Being There" and "Digital Leadership and Human System: The New Five-Factor Model in the Age of Artificial Intelligence", he thoroughly examines how artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and remote work models reshape organizational structures and relationships. Moreover, he expands his analysis beyond corporate boundaries in "The Architectural Management: The Global Chessboard of the Future", addressing strategic power and emerging geopolitical challenges. His publications serve as a vital guide for executives, scholars, and professionals navigating rapid shifts in the global business and social landscape.


Dr. Anargyros Sideris is also actively involved in mentoring and accelerating new ventures through Mentor Startup, a business he founded in 2023. His business advisory scope is holistic, spanning critical sectors of the Greek economy such as healthcare, legal services, tourism, and construction. Providing end-to-end consulting support, from strategic advertising and marketing to financial oversight and accounting, he has contributed decisively to the growth of emerging and established business ventures in Greece. This deep market insight directly informs and enriches his academic teaching, while reinforcing his institutional presence as a board member in major organizations, including Hippokratio General Hospital in Athens, Greece.
