Raagini Sharma is a senior analyst at the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) based in Greece and she is a research coordinator at Global Counter Terrorism Council (GCTC) based in India. She is interested in ‘Terrorism and Counterterrorism’ studies and particularly follows right-wing extremism, radicalisation and its impact on Western societies. Hence, she focuses on policies, threat assessments, modus operandi, overt and covert support groups, international laws and likely solutions apart from other germane aspects related to terrorism and right wing extremism.
She has double Master’s to her credit, one in Conflict, Governance and Development from the University of York, U. K. and the other one in Politics and International Relations from Central University of Gujrat, India. She did her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Political Science from Delhi University, India. She has amply worked on dissertations and independent projects involving intensive research, incisive analysis and comprehensive and detailed reports.
Raagini Sharma is a keen researcher and worked with ‘Partners in Change’, India. She has also contributed to International organisations by assisting them in administration, prioritisation and execution of key projects through research.
