EPIN logoIn June 2014, EPIN received three new members: Think Tank Europa (Denmark), Centre for European Affairs (Slovakia) and the Research Institute for European and American Studies (Greece). Among the areas of expertise of Think Tank EUROPA are labour market policy, the European internal market, he EU's handling of the economic crisis, Danish attitudes to the EU, Danish EU opt-outs, democracy, European growth and competitiveness and jobs. The Centre for European Affairs (CEA) focuses on economic, financial and political aspects of the EU integration dynamics, strategic EU policies and puts a notable accent on Slovak positions within the processes of decision-making and agenda- setting on both the local and the European levels. The objective of the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS) is to promote the understanding of international affairs. Special attention is devoted to transatlantic relations, intelligence studies and terrorism, European integration, international security, Balkan, Mediterranean and Middle East studies, Russian foreign policy as well as policy-making on national and international level.
