WORLD SECURITY NETWORK FOUNDATION OFFICE IN ATHENS AND SOUTHEAST EUROPE The World Security Network Foundation has recently opened its Office in Athens, covering the South Eastern European Region. The Office will be based along the RIEAS Institute and Dr. John M. Nomikos is in charge of the ISN Athens and South Eastern Europe Office. Prof. Zoran Dragisic (National Security System, Security Management, Counter-Terrorism Studies) – Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade Prof. Dr. Zoran Dragisic is an Associate Professor in Security Management at the Faculty of Security Studies at the University of Belgrade. He has studied Law and Political Science and he has done research in non-international armed conflicts (Academy for International Law, Hague), Peace Studies (University of Florence), and Crisis Management (University of Florence). Currently, he conducts high-level research and analysis on issues concerning security management in the Balkans, threat assessment of organized crime, terrorism developments and counter-terrorism studies. Bucharest Manuela Paraipan (Balkan-Middle East Relations, Romanian studies) Manuela Paraipan is a Bucharest based independent foreign policy analyst. She has been published in the Washington Times, World Press Review, Yemen Times, Global Politician, Lebanon Wire, World Security Network, Ya Libnan and other publications. She has also been invited as a speaker at multiple political conferences. Sofia Prof. Jordan Baev (Security, Defense & Conflict Expert, Bulgarian studies, Historian). Associate Professor in International History and Senior Research Fellow in Security Studies at National Security & Defense Faculty of the G. S. Rakovsky Defense and Staff College in Sofia. Zoran Necev (IR, CFSP, ESDP, Geopolitics of European Peripheries) Public Policy Analyst – Centre for Research and Policy Making He holds a Master degree in International Business and Public Policy from the University di Catania, Sicily, Italy. He has conducted an internship as an assistant lecturer to Prof. Francesco Strazzari at the Amsterdam Centre for Conflict Studies (ACS) at the University of Amsterdam and at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. In addition, Zoran Nacev has experience in institutional policy analysis and has also published reports and analyses in the media and scientific journals.
