Refugee status was granted only to 2,986 cases in 2016
According to Asylum Service data refugee status was granted to 2,711 cases in the first degree and to 275 cases in the second degree during 2016 (compared to 4,469 in total in 2015).

intelstudiesOn 22-24 June 2017, The European Chapter of the International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE-Europe) will organize its 2nd annual conference, which will gather its membership for a conference for the first time in the Mediterranean and Balkan region.

Two-day conference with 3 key-note speakers and no less than 10 panels, where presentations will be given on both new developments in intelligence and (new) ways of teaching intelligence. Further information about details of the program as well as location of the conference place can be expected in the coming weeks.

As this will be IAFIE’s EUROPE second annual conference outside the Western Hemisphere, the international turn out, not only from Europe, but also from Africa, Middle East, USA, Canada, Russia, Asia and Oceania, is expected to be great. It is therefore recommended to register at the earliest opportunity. For the moment save the date in our agendas and take notice that there will also be an interesting partner program during the two days of the conference... Read more
